My Leisure = cooking

This is a picture of me cooking with 2 of my roommates.  Cooking is something that is relaxing to me.  It is a way for me to do something that I enjoy and a way for me to de-stress.  To me, cooking means relaxation and calmness.  My definition of leisure is doing something that makes one happy that does not cause stress or anxiety.  It is an activity that one can gain a sense of pleasure or happiness from.

Leisure to me - Jack Cornell

When I have free time I really enjoy watching football and following my favorite team, the Green Bay Packers.  Football is something I have loved since I was a little kid, and it quickly became a passion and my first love.  Even being a die hard Packers fan, I still enjoy watching other teams at the professional level, as well at the collegiate level.  I really like watching the offensive game plans and schemes play out right in front of my eyes, and I really like watching my favorite position, the offensive line.  I enjoy watching the professional football teams’ offensive lines because that is the position I play, and I am always trying to get better by watching how the pros play the game.

My Lesiure - Dance.

This picture is of me dancing with my old dance team for the last time before we all left to go away to college. To me, it reminds me of what dancing really means to me, and that is a means of relaxation. Everyone uses dance differently, whether it be for fun, socially, professionally, or just as a past time activity. Dancing is my leisure because it's the one thing that I can do to take my mind off of everything else that is going on in my life. To me, dance is everything, and I spend much of my free time doing it.

This picture is of Law and Order Special Victims Unit.  The reason I chose this is because I like to watch T.V. as my leisure activity and one of my favorite T.V. shows.  I find the show very relaxing to watch during the day or at the end of a night. This show helps take my mind off of football and school and the other daily stresses.  Despite it's sometimes violent content I find Law and Order SVU to be extremely relaxing and peaceful.
